I feel like most of the plot kind of fell apart I should say, there was none for a good 75% of the book) because this book takes place completely outside of Maple Hills and the squad. I think that companionship and group of friends is why I really liked the first book so much more than this one. Russ and Aurora are cute together and have a lot of adulting hurdles to navigate, which makes this book feel at the same time very immature as well as frustrating because you're watching young characters evolve through tough topics. I wish the spice to plot ratio was a little bit better, but the spice was πŸ‘€πŸŒΆπŸŒΆ though a little laughable when these characters are barely 21. Overall, not bad. Hoping that the next book will make take me right back to my love for Maple Hills!
