Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett

4.0

Another wonderful Discworld novel, I didn't find this one as funny as the first two but it had it's chuckle moments.I loved how instead of having Esk smash through the doors on the Unseen University and show everyone how masculine and wizard-like she was, she instead embraced both witchcraft and wizardy, both feminine and masculine traits and liked them both equally.
I also loved how no one could come up with a solid reason why women weren't allowed to be wizards, in the same way that no one in the real world can come up with a valid reason why women and men shouldn't be equal.
