Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli

3.0

- small review!
my rating: 3/5! i recommend this book!

i really loved this book. it was nice to be back in the simonverse again. i love all of the characters (minus a few, if you’ve read the book yet you can probably guess who) and i just think this was a wonderful conclusion to the series.

leah is so funny and bold and i can relate to her a lot. she struggles with insecure thoughts about her body, and that’s something i struggle with as well, so reading about her own thoughts about these things really helped me connect more to her.

(spoiler for simon vs the homosapien agenda)
honestly one of favorite parts was being able to see simon and bram happy. i know it was leah’s book, but it was just so nice to have a happy LGBT relationship.

i love the friendship between leah and bram. they’re kinda awkward around each other when it’s just the two of them because they’re used to being in a group, but they’re both so nice to each other and bram is such. a. cutie.

(can i just add that i love abby and leah together and that i was not expecting that at all?)
