I am quite often disappointed with sequels but Heidi Heilig really got this right for me. It had all the aspects of the first book that I loved while adding to it. I couldn't put this down and

loved the ending, wrapping up certain plots while leaving parts open to interpretation.

Heidi Heilig has become one of my must-read authors.
