Truly engaging! I watched June’s character with: awe; irritation, shame; empathy; and disgust. Needless to say, I was mesmerized. I don’t think the author was introducing anything new but she was doing so in such a refreshing way albeit the horrific themes. A little at odds with the ending but I can’t quite put my finger on it as to why. Nevertheless, I appreciated how we were privy to the dynamic within the publishing world — that was pretty fun.
