The Woman in Me by Britney Spears

2.0

I really wanted to enjoy this book, I completely support the #freebritney movement and I’m so glad she is back in control of her life. But the book was written like she was chatting with a friend - the writing was disjointed, contradictory and jumped around. I almost put it down multiple times but plowed through. There was a very small amount of insight to her life but mostly it showcased a person who was never allowed to be a child and thusly never really grew up. It made me pity her and I don’t believe that was its purpose.
