The Death of Caesar: The Story of History's Most Famous Assassination by Barry S. Strauss

3.0

Whilst this book gave an interesting look into the events surrounding the death of Julius caesar I found it terribly hard going. I found sentences heavily constructed, the constant use of BC drove me wild we knew it was BC and using it all the time felt cumbersome, in the same way sentences relating to the main conspirators had a single name in it several times ti was like the author couldn't think of using a pronoun such as he or they.
