Finding Mayhem by Layla Frost

4.75

I’m knocking off part of a star for the pacing - I disliked that Mac’s history was kept under wraps until 80% of the way in, needlessly. It wouldn’t have detracted from the story at all to reveal what she was running from earlier and, as a reader, would have lowered my anxiety during the read.

That said, Ward/Hollywood was the literal perfect hero, and his love story with Mac was beautifully done. It also had a pregnancy trope from the getgo and EVEN THOUGH I HATE THEM AS A RULE I absolutely did not hate it here. It was well done, tasteful, and emotionally satisfying found family HEA.
