A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray

5.0

I can't tell you how much I love this book. I love everything about it. I love the story and the characters so much. And I love Paul Markov with my whole entire heart.

This story is just so well created. Every detail of the writing truly gives the reader a very good idea of what Margeruite is seeing. Gray does a great job at world building - and does it several times over with the whole dimensional travel thing and it's flawless every time. All the dimensions that Margeruite travels to are so beautifully described and I want to visit every single one of them
The Russiaverse is my favourite. For obvious reasons which are Lieutenant Markov and how much he loved Margeruite *sob*.
and see what I'd be doing.

Also, this book is so well researched? I know sh!t all about physics and science but I was able to understand everything that was going on science-wise and all the theories seemed really plausible?

The characters are also really well written and have a lot of depth. Margeruite was someone I could relate to, not just as a person but her motives and her morals - she cared deeply about her family and is extremely loyal to those close to her. She's rational but courageous and quite admirable.

And Paul Markov. My honey. My love. Ugh, I love this character more than my own life.
And probably more or just as much as Margeruite.
He's everything I could ever want in a real-life guy right from his appearance to who he is as a person and seeing him on paper was so amazing. he truly deserves every single happiness in the world. But honestly, he was such a great character, the mystery behind him made him really intriguing and it was really cool that we were discovering him with Margeruite. The 'flashbacks' that took place throughout the book where Margeruite would talk about her encounters with Paul gave us a really nice look into their life before everything and we were able to see Margeruites doubts as well as form our own.

The plot of this story was truly remarkable. It ran deeply with lots of twists and turns and keep me turning pages and whenever something !!!!!!! happened I was truly shocked. The plot was such so hooking and I loved it.

This book may or may not actually be my favourite book. I just love it so much. The whole series is amazing but this one has a very special place in my heart.

10/10 recommend.
