The second book in the Ffion Morgan series sees a backdrop of a reality show based near her home and after the contestants realise that they've signed up for something different than expected, one goes missing, forcing the Welsh and English police to work together again.
I enjoyed this one as much as the first, arguably helped by my dislike of reality shows (and vloggers) as the pace of the story rattles along. Its told from a variety of viewpoints including Ffion, the contestants, the makers of the show and English cop Leo who was instrumental in the first book.
It's twisty with just about everyone having reason to lie (hence the title) and keeps the reader guessing with little clues along the way.
There's a lovely sub-story surrounding Ffion's dog Dave which gave some much needed comic relief and although it would maybe help to read the first book, it's not essential despite plenty of ongoing storylines into this book.
 Highly recommended.
