The second half of this book was 5/5 stars for me but the first half dragged. This is one of those series that I can get really into and enjoy, but once I’ve stepped away for a bit (dang library wait times), it’s hard for me to get back into it. 

Spoiler Pretty sure Rowan is my favorite character so I’m also less interested when he’s not in the story. 

Manon was also fairly meh in the beginning but got much more interesting.
