Brilliance of the Moon by Lian Hearn

This is a solid ending to an exciting series. These books are all very fast-paced, which I liked, but at times things moved so quickly that it was jarring. I wanted the final battle, especially, to be given more space and attention. As with the first two books, one of my favourite things about these novels is the atmosphere the author creates and the attention she pays to the landscape and nature. It makes them particularly compelling and vivid.
