Well, I really didn't like this book. The only reason it doesn't have a lower rating is becuase I only give 1 star whenever I am angry at the book or there are some major issues with it. There is nothing "wrong" with the story per say, it was just incredibly unrealistic and ridiculous.

The characters were flat and that's being generous, the story was waaaaay to long and it's only 292 pages. It could have done with 200 easlily. There were so many stupid conflicts that were not actually developed. I don't understand why would the author introduce them if she wasn't going to actually follow through ANY of them. There was even an almost kidnap situation that started and ended in FOUR PAGES. Honestly, so unnecessary.

Events like this one happened continuously and it made me roll my eyes every two seconds.

Also, I was promised Hockey players and that couldn't be farther from the truth. The male protagonist is a journalists that COVERS hockey games. THAT'S IT. And he doesn't even talk about them. ARG.

I don't recommend it. If you want a cute contemporary romance centered around Hockey I'd go for the Off-campus series by Elle Kennedy better.
