Review:
This was only the 2nd Novel ive read by Anita Shreve so i kind of knew what to expect even tho this one was abit different from The Pilot's Wife that i read a few years back.
The Characters were fun and interesting to read about. Honora was definately my favorite since i felt for her with how it seemed she was thrown into being a homemaker and newlywed so fast. I can only imagine how hard that must of been for her.
The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1920s New England while reading, especially when the scenery was described.
Overall a Good Book 2 in this Historical Fiction Series!! Cant wait to read more in this series and by Anita in the future!!
