I knew early on I was going to love this no matter how it turned out. These two knew how to banter like nobody else and clearly picked on one another despite caring deeply for each other their whole lives.

The switch didn’t flip suddenly with the romantic tension, it felt like it slowly made its way into the situation and happened really organically. It was like he knew she was his and was never in a rush (ugh, swoon).

I liked that her personality set her apart from everyone else, not in the “I’m not like other girls” way but in the “I care deeply about my family and I have the mouth of a sailor” way. It was oddly charming to me.

These two had all the chemistry you could want and I absolutely love them. I wish everyone set of characters made me feel as giddy and excited about reading as these did. The plot was also good, as always. MZ doesn’t miss!
