Windwitch by Susan Dennard

4.0

This was so much better than Truthwitch. The plot was much easier to follow and there was a definite improvement in the world-building. The multi-perspective narration is very well laid out and each character's subplot was both interesting and engaging. In this book, I felt the focus was more on Iseult and Aeduan despite it being Merik's book. I should have liked to see more of the story from his POV. Also, I'm still a little confused as to how the magic works and some explanation on that would have been nice.
SpoilerI was really hoping for a Safi and Merik reunion too!
But otherwise, an entertaining high stakes adventure!
