This whole time reading this book I've felt I'll at ease and on the edge of my seat which given the pretty banal events described speaks even more highly of the author's wonderful prose, getting the reader to feel the emotions of the narrator. It wasn't an enjoyable book that being said and I always wanted it to be over when I picked it up purely because of the unresolved dissonance, almost like a minor chord hanging there, unresolved.
