No thank you.

- Not loving the back and forth between time periods. 8 years ago ever other chapter is semi annoying.

- Not surprised by the fact that he got involved with a 16 year old, even in a “platonic way”. Ick. Felt like grooming.

- Him calling her “cherub” was so uncomfortable.

- I thought she was a strong, badass, independent grown up when this book started. Instead, she’s acting like a 16 year old pining after this dude, and seems like she’s needs to be saved by him. He is not your salvation, he is literally just a guy.

- Where is the fantasy? Seriously lacking any of those really good elements that’s makes up fantasy. You can’t just give a man pointy ears, a crown, wings, and powers, then call it that.

- Wish there would have been a trigger warning that she was going to describe her sexual assault like that.

- Dude, seriously? Why is there so much assault happening in this book. Unnecessarily graphic.

- Vocabulary was not great, please have more range.
