Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life by Bryan Lee O'Malley

3.0

loaded with personality, but I feel like it hadn't quite found its stride yet. future volumes take all the personality set up here but with better writing. this one is still pretty enjoyable though don't get me wrong.

it's also worth noting that I feel like if I had read this a little earlier it would've resonated more. the characters have so much to latch onto, if I was just a bit more impressionable I think the experience would be different. it's easy to see where the hold this has on people comes from. good stuff. valuable stuff. formative.
