Did not finish book. Stopped at 31%.

This is a huge disappointment for me. I was so excited about this one and it just isn’t for me. Opal is so annoying that I wanted to rip my hair out during her POV-she reads like a 16 year old not a 20 something. Pepper was too bitchy with all her walls (which I get it, childhood trauma and everything). Also, several reviews I read said that Mazey Eddings does too much telling and not enough showing and they’re 10000% correct. Moments that could’ve built up these characters were just recapped instead of being shown. I’m so sad this didn’t work for me.
