A Certain Hunger by Chelsea G. Summers

4.0

I picked this up as a palette cleanser after so many toxic romance reads...and I couldn't have ask for more.

This book knows what it is and owns it.
It's like Raw meets Gone Girl, or whatever, and that's a warning dear readers. Although I really like that they hide the core trigger of this book, it was a surprising element and I'm not going to further talk about it.

The story was written as a memoir of a psychopath-slash-serial killer, that's why the suspense/thriller here was almost non-existent. BUT, the narrative was so playful and classy gore, that I can't stop myself from reading. I'm really impressed by writers who could put themselves in this type of characters, it's such a wonder.
