Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

5.0

August 2022 re-read
An absolute pure delight.
I was forgetting the beautiful genius of this book, so it was most certainly time for me to read it again.
And what a perfect time, indeed. Everything feels a bit wretched right now, my life feels like it's slowly falling apart and each day is a struggle, but here came dear old Lizzy, and moody Mr. Darcy, and the whole cast of lovable, chaotic, crazy characters, and made me smile again. This book soothed my tired soul and poked holes of cheer into my fog of gloom. It saw me through some long, sleepless nights, and made the miserable days a little less miserable.
Bless you, Jane Austen, you incredible woman, I love you so much.
.
Just want to make a quick note, that as much as I love all the characters, I daresay Mr. and Mrs. Gardener are the true heroes of this story. xD
