Lifemaker (The Great Iron War, Book 2) by Dean F. Wilson

5.0

This book read like something out of a movie. The scene when they were going through the mines and clearing them to get the Lifemaker through, had me holding my breath, as if I was actually seeing it. I felt bad for Whistler because he has those scars from the last book and he finds out his father was a demon. That has to be hard for a child. Then Jake's crazy ex-girlfriend comes back with a vengeance. Drugging him and he having to use all his willpower to fight her off, as she kept drugging him. I'm really hoping that Taberah and Jake get together since she is having his baby after all. This was a crazy rollercoaster of a read and I definitely recommend you read both books.
