Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.

Excessive, unnecessary description everywhere. Narrator extremely ostentatious and wants to prove smartness. This seems like more would read in college because have slough through for an assignment or some interpretation per sections on monks living 1300s. The intro not sure was needed or could have been shorter.
