Excellent book by Rosie Walsh. There was a mystery to be solved, but on the way to one of the reveals,we have Sarah lost in her reverie about a week with Eddie. She knows that they had something but he has "ghosted" her, or so her friends tell her. Sarah re-hashes the week she spent with Eddie in much the same way any woman would - vacillating between having felt a genuine connection, and doubting what she thought they both felt.
Told from first person, I was engaged in Sarah's anxiety and longing for Eddie, and never felt that she was a stalker. A turn in the story 2/3 of the way through meant a reading sprint to the conclusion.
I love when a book draws me in to the characters and pulls me back to sit and read!
