I wanted to like this more than I did. I had a good time, mostly, while reading it, but I couldn’t stop myself from thinking “what is the point” a few times.
The rambling, train-of-thought style has its pros and cons. There are little nuggets of beauty and wisdom within the pages. But I think I would have liked it more if they were expressed with more purposeful language. I think the casual nature of the writing can be a little limiting. But it also made it an incredibly easy and very relatable read.
