💌 Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
*Spoilers*
The way this book was portrayed is extraordinary. Throughout the book, the difficulties and suffering of a metamorphic human named Gregor are elaborated into three parts. Every part depicts how he has to survive under the eyes of human existence.
• First of all, he had to hide himself from society and his family. Because of the fear of being noticed by a different approach due to the bodily changes he has developed. Which are impossible to take place.
• Secondly, he had to force himself to come out of his bubble of fears and expose his true identity which has no specific justification for when, why, or how he metamorphosed his human body into an insect.
• Thirdly, he had to go through all the problems alone as his only pillar, his sister who was always there for him was not by his side anymore. He could easily judge her by the now-born disgust in her eyes.
•
Metamorphosis has a deep-rooted connection between the writer Franz and the human-cum-insect character named Gregor. Sure, both of them have similar incidents happening in their lives. The hardships either one of them had to face under the roof they shared with their fathers. Or the distancing relationship with the 'sister'
