Batman/Superman, Volume 3: Second Chance by Greg Pak, Jae Lee

3.0

I really wanted to like this series, but unfortunately the first volume was the only one worthy of more than 3 stars. The Artwork is still inconsistent in this one, but atleast we get more from Jae Lee, which is good.

I'm all for books that explore characterization and "what if" scenarios, but this one seemed a little too shallow and rushed. The villain served no other purpose than to be a deus ex machina, and the character were majorly ooc. I know that the purpose of the story was to explore what Batman and Superman would be like if they didn't remember who they were, but I don't think they reacted how those characters would actually act(for instance, why was Clark so angry, if he didn't remember anything to be angry about?).

Jae Lee's artwork and Lois Lane taking a stint as Batgirl are the only two things keeping this at a 3 rather than 2 star rating.
