The Nowhere Man by Gregg Hurwitz

adventurous challenging emotional hopeful tense

5.0

This was very different to the first book, which I appreciated and gave me hope that the series wouldn't become tired and repetitive. Some of this felt a tad far-fetched, somewhat James Bond-esque in his ability to survive and escape but also very entertaining and gripping to read.

I loved that the teaser thrown out at the end of Orphan X was partially resolved in this book. I hate when the reader is let in on a secret which is then dangled throughout a series as a means to keep us engaged, so seeing how it played out and opened up future storylines was great. The character development was so strong too. We are starting to learn much more about Evan.

I am still hugely invested in the series and am already reading book #3. I'm secretly hoping that Candy changes allegiance as that chick rocks.
