Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls, Volume 1: 100 Tales of Extraordinary Women by Francesca Cavallo, Elena Favilli

2.0

Not what I expected. I guess my expectations were too high for a kid's book, but an ad for it made me believe it would be a retelling of fairy tales that strengthens the female characters. Instead it's a pint sized encyclopedia of famous women whose stories the mainstream hasn't really heard. But, even so, its really the same old mix of Ada Lovelace, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Rosa Parks, etc. who are continually represented when you go looking for female historical figures.
