I really enjoyed this, up until the last big twist of the book. It was a fun mystery to see who did it, who might have been involved and how we got from 11 years ago to present

I feel like the big twist was a bit out of left field…I don’t want to say too much because spoilers, but it literally could have been anyone else and I feel it wouldn’t have made me this upset…

Maybe that was the point? I’m not sure…besides that, I’d recommend it but man that ending hurt. And not in the pulling heartstrings way, more in the “really…” kind of way

As an afterword, I agree with someone else's review: that twist really didn’t help the plot and was a hot tangled mess
