Not my usual genre. Last time I read anything like this was 2021 and before that 2016. Looking back at those, they all got 1 or 2 stars and this one was a bit better than those but still nothing higher.  It was free on audible so I just thought why not.

Typical regency romance novel. Kit returns to the country after several years in London. Dresses as a boy, becomes leader of a smuggling group. Meets captain jack and there you have it basically.  It is very dated in the regency period with attitudes re men and women. That doesn't particularly bother me as that was what it was like then but some people may find it offensive.  Beware though, there is LOTS of sex in it. I got fed up of reading those parts after a while, just graphic and repetetive.
