This story is heartbreaking 💔 and made me cry in public 😭. While I'll never rate the books I read on a five ⭐ scale, this one was definitely worth the read. It took me just a few hours ⏳ to read Jack and Joseph's story, but I felt so deeply for the characters before I was even halfway through. It was so moving. I truly felt grateful 😊 for the life I live and debilitated by the fact that people have/will live Joseph's story. If you need a short novel to make you feel something, this is the one. I will say I struggled with the fact that Joseph is also only like 13/14 throughout the book 📚. However, I found that if I looked past his age and truly at his character, I could really feel for him and his story.
