A Matchless Romance by Christi Barth
2.0
This book was curiously all over the place. Drew's supposedly a geek who can't talk to women but half the time he is actually a confident gold medalist (at the Olympics) with a body to match and the other half he's living in his game world. It just doesn't mesh.
Plus the "geeky" references are so confused, when Drew meets Tabitha he reacts like the concept of zombies is something that is super geeky. Not a specific zombie reference or a reference to some kind of obscure zombie film/comic/book, the concept of zombies.
Plus Drew is flabbergasted by the concept of Tabitha, a female-type person playing video games. Studies repeatedly show that the video game audience is like people 50% female, this should not have come as a shock to him.
Not happy.
