Oh Meghan ....
Ok, well, honestly I did not enjoy the Iron Daughter as much as I did the first book.
The problem was: Meghan. Oh my .... I wanted to scream at her and shake her because she was soooooooo whiny and annoying at the beginning. Ash here, Ash there, Ash hates me, Ash played with me and so on and on. It was like her whole existence is only about Ash. I did not really feel their relationship before, because to my mind, this love-story thing building was too fast.
Further, the love-triangle drama was unnecessary for reasons I won't spoil now :)
Despite of Meghan's behaviour and the very long-drawned beginning, the story got a nice pace afterwards. Yes, there are still dragging parts, but we meet new faes and meet old friends again. The ending was very good, interesting, shocking and well ... Meghan finally surprised me positiv.
Thanks to this ending, I will defnitely read the third book as soon as possible, especially because of the title!
