Long Way Down by Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie

I already struggle with saying goodbye to characters in a stand-alone book, so you can imagine how hard it was for me to do it for this series and the characters. First of all the layout of this series is unique, I havent read a series where the author used the same layout (3 sisters + 3 love interests = 9 books). From the first book you get sucked into the Addicted series world and it doesn't let you go (and trust me you don't want to be let go). Every main character in this series is so unique and imperfectly PERFECT.
This book focuses on Daisy and Ryke (#Raisy). Ryke is 7 years older than Daisy but like they say "Age aint nothing but a number", and Daisy is pretty grown up for her age. This book is NOT a stand-alone so you need to have read at least the previous books in the Calloway Sisters spin-off series. Ryke is a daredevil and practises a sport that put his life in danger everytime. Daisy, is suffering from anxiety after a couple of incidents she'd been through. She also has a hard time saying NO, but with the help of Ryke and her family she becomes a stronger person. Ryke is such a patient man, and never does anything to harm Daisy.
I can't really say too much without spoiling the book so I will keep it general. To me these characters are more than just fictional characters in books. I have been reading about them for 9 books, so that does connect you to these characters to another level. This book wrecked my emotions. One page I was laughing out loud, the other page I was crying my eyes out! SO many things happen to Raisy but they get through it together and with the support of their family and friends. I have never read a series where the characters were so involved in eachothers lives and such a close-knit group.
I am going to miss them so much! I am so happy there will be a Epilogue book and a spinoff series :D
