Similar to Small, Great Things, I think the acknowledgements in this book are very important and I am glad that they were listed at the beginning instead of the end.

I haven't read many books where the narrator is an unnamed character in the community so that was interesting to me.

This one was unfortunately very underwhelming. It built up the whole book slowly and I was left unfulfilled by the ending. It overall wasn't bad but I needed more. It's a slow burn and hard to read but very relevant.
