It Happened One Wedding by Julie James
4.0
Listening in on a really bad first date, Vaughan can’t help but be impressed when the unknown female quickly and honestly lets the guy down. Perfect time to hit on her, right? Wrong. Sidney has had it with smokin’ hot, cocky and arrogant men and Vaughan has all these characteristics in spades. She shuts him down faster than a cowboy lassos a helpless calf and heads out to meet her sister and her boyfriend only to find out two things. Her sister is getting married and who is her fiance’s brother and best man? Oh, look-Vaughan just walked in the door.
Yeah, ok. I know that sounds like a lot of romances but what Julie James offers to romance readers is a little bit different while still being true to the genre. Smart and witty characters with quirky side characters. The sexual tension seems to come naturally from humor and snark which is always fun.
