I think I get why people like romance books now cause it’s more of anticipating what happens next. And even if you’re wrong, it’s still enough to leave you hanging on the edge of your seat.
That said I loved how much the characters actually seemed like real people with their likes and interests. Like Asher’s all about hockey & can be cocky/arrogant at times but it never plays into the angsty bad boy type. Same goes with Wren & Mia, they have their quirks but never far enough to be considered a maniac pixie dream girl or ‘I’m not like other girls’ type. And all the characters seem to develop together, even with some of their past trauma.

Moderate: Fire/Fire injury and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Car accident
