No Roses for Harry! by Gene Zion

Seems a little more pointless than the last two I read about Harry: plot seems to be style preference rather than perception check. Didn't like that the story didn't confront people laughing at someone for the clothing they wore or why a male didn't like a floral/feminine patterned garment. There's definitely some 1958 publication date gender stuff. I'm hoping there's a more relevant children's book version out there that would emphasize a being's right to choose what to wear, whether or not they liked roses, no matter how they identify. 🌹
