It is a wonderful and  haunting read. This book really reflects well on conditions of women on those times and how little choices and freedom they had on how they have to live there lives and It also reflects and presents a clear picture on menta health stigma on those times.

On Character wise, Esther Greenwood was plain, confused and has her own flaws like any women at her age typically do about still that only made her more real and how she goes through her mental issues and societal pressure. She was adequate to what this novel tries to encompass.

I Read this is kinda semi autobiography of author which is really haunting and made us appreciate how conditions of women have improved through time and how mental health is considered an issue compared to the times the novel takes place in.
