This book picks up right where the 1st one ends. This part of the duology focuses on trying to live life outside the cult, trying to find yourself, and finding a purpose. This was a book about destiny and not letting circumstances define who you are.

This was such a beautiful love story with very sad circumstances and history. There was so much emotion written in the pages. I loved the return of the characters you loved in the 1st book, even the ones you loved to hate. The ending was perfect and felt complete. I felt like all the questions I had while reading were answered, and loose ends were tied up, even the messy ones.
