First things first - where can I find my own Jay? That man needs to be duplicated. He was the absolute sweetest. Sarah didn't stand a chance against his charms and looks, add in the heart of gold and the protective hero....goner!
Things escalated quickly from his "break in" to help with a possible fire, to his irritation from lack of sleep Nora crying all the time, to doing anything to protect his girls. He knew pretty quickly that Sarah and Nora were his future, and even though Sarah was apprehensive about what could be, she couldn't deny she felt the same way Jay did.
Even though this was a novella, the pace of the story was perfect. I was all in from the first word to the last. Sara, Jay and baby Nora made the cutest little found family and I hope to hear more about them in future installments of Half Moon Lake.
A definite MUST READ!
