We all know I love every word that comes out of Sierra Simone’s big beautiful brain. Well if you didn’t, now you do. But Lyonesse especially is feeling like vintage Simone, a throwback to the New Camelot world if you will, and since that’s where I first fell in love, I’m feral for this series already. And this prequel hit all the right notes to whet my appetite for Salt Kiss. The only problem is now I have to wait for it to release 😭

An arranged marriage between an older cruel villainous sex club owning Daddy Dom and a pretty young sweet but stabby wannabe nun assassin that’s also a fake relationship where they have to “pretend” to be bdsm buddies to make it “look real”? Am I in heaven? Did Sierra somehow crawl into my brain and find its deepest darkest desires before she wrote this? Looks like it. And then there’s also betrayal and vengeance and some vigilante shit? BRB while I update my personality to incorporate this series. This story is the perfect blend of the Simone brand of sacred and profane, and before the series even starts, your heart will be broken and trampled upon (for free too!) and you’ll just ask for more. Because you know, it’s sad, horny trampling. This novella felt like coming home. And I can’t wait to spend time in this world.

Mark is already shaping up to be the self assured daddy dom of my dreams, and the whole ruthlessly cruel morally grey thing only adds to his charm. Yes, I heard it. But Ms Simone knows how we like our Doms, and how to write a good little guilt ridden Catholic sub with a schminky streak a mile wide. So what if they’re hell bent on ruining each other and banging each other at the same time. That’s what makes it more fun. It’s all good.

And we’ve barely even met baby Tristan. If Mark and Isolde’s bl 👀 d lüst is anything to go by, baby T is going to be in deep trouble. And he’s going to have a marvelous time while in it. Caught in the midst of their games and power plays, I can only imagine Tristan having the time of his life, while he tries to get them to behave of course. Or not. Nobody behave. Let there be horny chaos.
