what a fascinating book! i bought it on a complete whim and i just loved it. what an insane story. i really loved that we only a spent a little time with each new character but still really got to know them - they were so well developed with different humour, accents, wants - it impressed me anyway. i also loved how at the end, norahs realisation at her aging paralleled all the twins’ victims when they noticed they couldn’t breathe - so clever genuinely recommend this so much. very glad i read it! compared with the only other horror/thriller i’ve read - the turn of the screw - this was so much better and i’m glad i have discovered that not all books in the genre are convoluted and boring
