Part of me wants to chastise myself for keeping this on my TBR for four years, but I also feel like I read this at the exact right time.
This is not gonna be a long review (the stars will speak for themselves), but I just wanted to point out how Eleanor is «unconventional», but yet, she too relies heavily on conventions. They may be dated or misplaced, but her life is also very much dictated by rules and expectations. (Albeit very different ones from the people around her).
Anyway, this was a good book. Quite funny too. I only cried like nine times.
