There's a sense that things are coming to their conclusion but absolutely no doubt that anything could still happen. The confrontation between Gromph and Dyrr seemed the central battle of this book and it was certainly dramatic. The Spider Queen may return but I suspect the final book will focus of Halisstra's new mission and that could change everything once again.
