The House I Loved by Tatiana de Rosnay

2.0

This story just didn't have anything for me. I finished it, thus the two stars, but it was poor. It may have been an interesting premise for the book, but the story and the main character just never pulled me in. There wasn't enough written about any part of the story to make me care about the people It took me weeks to finish a book that should have taken a day of reading. And the answer to the nightmare that we start to hear about midbook is ridiculous. I won't spoil it, but I thought "Good Lord how predictable was this and how quickly it laid out." This one will go in the donate pile for some other poor soul.
