I LOVE THIS BOOK. I got into it because of the smut but I actually loved the storyline a lot.
Juliet, my gorgeous and brave girl. She deserved a man who was always going to put her first. I didn’t mind not seeing the extent of the abuse she faced from her father, and I’m happy we only had to deal with her former life for a chapter. She had such beautiful character growth. And I’m happy that the author touched on her growing business at the end, because I didn’t want her to ever be super dependent on Maximo. And she truly was never after she turned 18z
Maximo, holy fuck I never thought you could make a character both possessive/dark and funny at the same time. This man and his men cracked me up. But also, the fact that he constantly put Juliet first. A champion for women.
And this is a 5/5 spicy book. Hot damn, the smut was beautiful and absolute perfection. Never would’ve thought I’d like the daddy kink fleshed out like this.
