Batman: Dark Victory by Jeph Loeb

4.0

The Dynamic duo strike again. Dark Victory is the sequel to one of my favorite Batman stories; The Long Halloween. I feel like it does good as a part two, however I wouldn't say its as good as LH. We get a similar story in this one. There is another mysterious serial killer going around being called "The Hang Man." As they hang their victims while leaving a clue behind playing the hang man game. Jeph does great with this type of stories and we get to see a lot of Batman's rouge gallery in full display. We also get more of Two-Face as this is a continuation on his origin and him fully diving into that persona. Harvey Dent is now dead and Two-Face is alive and out for revenge. Lots of twist and turns its all around a fun story. Along with that of course my favorite part of this read is Tim Sale's beautiful artwork. Every page is just full of stunning panels and brilliant character designs. These two together just always know what they're doing. I love it!
